Torre Pedrera, a small village in the Riviera Romagnola situated a short distance from Rimini, offers well-equipped beaches, fine sand, tranquillity and amusement. The city is named after the ancient tower dating back to 1673 which was commissioned by the Papal States and built on the banks of the river Pedrera. Thanks to its strategic position, the tower was used to check the sea navigation along the Riviera Adriatica.
Nowadays the life of the small town revolves around the sea where the main clubs, restaurants, amusement arcades and discos open till dawn are situated.
The 20 bathing establishments in Torre Pedrera provide every comfort to suit the needs of families, young people, sport lovers, elderly people and foreign visitors.
The restaurants in Torre Pedrera offer fish menus and the traditional cooking from Romagna and, along with its hotels and bathing establishments, differ from those situated in the other resorts in the Riviera because of the high quality services they offer at reasonable prices.
From Torre Pedrera it is possible to make excursions by bike; furthermore there are many sports centres and a Sailing Club for the lovers of sailing.
